Shadow of a girl

There was a photographer and a reporter from the P.I. on the Peregrine Falcon field trip. The birds and birdwatchers made yesterday's "Getaways" section. I'm in the above photo, extra points if you can pick me out... Link to the article is: http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/getaways/341299_falcons29.html

Peregrine Watching

Last weekend I went on an Urban Peregrine field trip and saw 5 of Seattle's own Peregrine Falcons. I saw 3 females and 2 males. The pair at West Seattle Bridge was the best and they did some great flight and mating displays. This is a shot I took of the West Seattle female (07/P) through a scope. If someone wants to do the same trip, I'm now in the know about all the spots and have my own scope... lemme know....

Scout update

We all still miss Scout terribly, but I'm comforted to know she is doing really well and adjusting to farm life. A couple milestones:

She likes sleeping next to the Ram;
She has stopped chasing the chickens;
She learned to hang out in a giant doghouse that is all hers;
She has gotten Magic, the old Pyr, to bark and run again;
She is behaving with great manners like I taught her....

There is more, but she is doing great and her new family, including all the creatures, are completely in love with her!! As it should be. Someday I'll go visit and say "that'll do pig" like my Babe farmer fantasies. The above is a picture of Scoutie Bear with old Magic.

America's Next TOP Peeve!

In an attempt to keep the little guy cheerful, we did some modeling. Even Tyra would have to say that Peeve is America's... Next... Top... Chihuahua!!!
