Oh, Peeve. How do you describe a little Peeve? Peeve is a chihuahua, or chihauhau mix, or chihauhau imposter, or giant Puerto Rican chihuahau.... He looks like a chihuahua and lots of his actions are very chihuahau-like, but he weighs 8 pounds on a good day. The chihauhau standard tops out at 6 pounds. He's fat. Once he was up to 11 pounds and we were very concerned about the functionality of his internal organs, he had to run from extra far back and let out a huge grunt to get on the bed. He's back down to his fighting weight of 8 pounds and he looks hot. He loves food. Last night he spit out a raisin and I almost fell down dead of shock. In the 3 years we've had him he has NEVER rejected a food item. In fact, I'm pretty confident that if we hadn't picked up the raisin he spit out, he would have re-eaten it. It was probably just causing him trouble going down and he wanted to attack it from a new angle. Peeve is the cuddliest, most loving, most constantly licking and grabbing your hands dog on the planet. He has a little guy he loves to fetch and he spins in circles when he is really excited, that and makes a "henh" kind of breathing sound. He sleeps under the covers (but not the sheet) and he is a little jerk if the cat walks near where he is laying. Oh, and he always goes to the bathroom in the house. It sucks. A lot. He knows it is wrong but he does it anyway. I tried putting diapers on him, doggy diapers, and he dragged one of his legs behind him like it was broken and he whimpered. He's got it made and he controls us. He rocks despite the snarling at other people and his tendency to bite children.... He loves Scout and nestles in her fur and also licks around her eyes to keep her clean.
